Bridge Education

Secondary Schools in Blackpool Seeking Immediate Supply Teachers:

Join Bridge Education Today!

Bridge Education works with the majority of secondary schools in the Blackpool region, providing an opportunity for you to achieve a flexible work/life balance. Whether you opt for day-to-day supply or prefer a long-term commitment, we can help.  There’s also the possibility for a long-term position to evolve into a permanent role. This is an excellent chance for new teachers to showcase their skills and innovative ideas while considering their future options. For experienced teachers who wish to focus solely on the classroom without the additional responsibilities of a permanent role, supply teaching is an ideal solution.

What we need:

We seek passionate and driven individuals who have a strong desire to make a positive impact in the classroom. Teachers are expected to serve as role models for the students they support and contribute positively to the permanent staffing team in the school.

To be eligible for a teaching post with us, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or QTLS.
  • Hold a clear enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Provide two years’ worth of references.

If you don’t have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS, or recent teaching experience, consider registering as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor, leveraging your transferable skills from other roles.

What’s in it for You?

  • Competitive pay rates based on experience.
  • Flexibility to choose your preferred working patterns.
  • A dedicated consultant to secure suitable assignments based on your requirements and preferences.
  • Weekly payments for your convenience.
  • Access to a diverse range of schools.
  • Networking opportunities with school contacts for potential future assignments.
